Heading H2

For when it’s not just Dangerous Goods*

  • Dangerous Goods that are temperature sensitive, whether in active containers or passive packaging, or Dangerous Goods that are valuable can also be transported by Lufthansa Cargo.
  • In case your shipment needs something extra, you can send your shipment with enhanced capacity access and higher priority by using the Speed td.Flash**, or td.Zoom*** for best capacity access, top priority and premium service.
  • Or in cases of very high urgency, Dangerous Goods can also be booked as Product Emergency.

Digitize your Dangerous Goods with an electronic Dangerous Goods Declaration

  • For quicker processing and fewer errors, simply use the IATA standard eDGD.
  • Please contact your Lufthansa Cargo sales office to find out whether you can use eDGD with Lufthansa Cargo

DGR Repair Service

  • Save time, effort and money: DGR Repair can directly remedy minor defects such as missing or inaccurate labels in the DGD at our Frankfurt and Munich hubs.
  • In this way, delays in transportation can mostly be avoided despite the re-checks required by authorities
  • If you have any questions about the general terms and conditions, please contact your local Lufthansa Cargo sales office or DGR-repair-service@dlh.de

*  Please note that not all Lufthansa Cargo stations worldwide are able to offer all the below-mentioned possibilities. For further details, see the “Infrastructure” tab.

*** Some Dangerous Goods’ commodities are not combinable with td.Zoom (e.g., Class 1 and 7 commodities) or underlie certain restrictions.

  • However, re-icing of Dangerous Goods shipments cannot be provided, not even in the event of irregularities or if a temperature (range) had been stated on an AWB for a Dangerous Goods shipment.
  • If a shipment requires re-icing or has other special requirements, please choose a Product, which covers such needs. Please see the other Product pages on this website for more details or ask your Lufthansa Cargo Sales contact in case of questions.
