    Warning strikes at Munich Airport on February 27 and 28, 2025

    It is expected that from 00:00 am (local time) on Thursday, 27 February 2025 until 11:59 pm (local time) on Friday, 28 February 2025, no cargo will be transported on Lufthansa Group passenger aircraft from, to and via Munich.

    In view of the special circumstances, the following restrictions will apply in MUC from 12:00 pm (local time) on Wednesday 26 February until 12:00 pm (local time) on Friday 28 February:

    • Embargo on inbound Road Feeder Services (RFS) land shipments
    • Embargo for temperature sensitive products, live animals (AVI/AVP/AVX), perishables (PER/PES/PEM/PEF), ICE and td.Zoom (XOM/XOS).
    • Local export acceptance only for booked shipments departing within the next 24 hours.

    We are doing everything we can to minimize the impact on your shipments and will publish current information regarding the updated flight schedule on lufthansa-cargo.com as soon as possible.

    We would like to explicitly ask you to proactively inform yourself via our eTracking service about the current status of your shipment on the respective booked flight.

    With regard to the affected shipments and contracts, we would like to point out that these are exceptional events, about which you will be duly informed again with this communication.

    We regret the necessary adjustments and the inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this strike period.
