Product & Sales - Dr. Andreas Otto

In 1991 he obtained a degree in business administration. Three years later he was awarded a doctorate in political sciences by the University of Cologne.

In the same year Otto joined Rhenus AG & Co. KG in Dortmund as Project Manager Logistics. In 1996 he was appointed Managing Director of Rhenus Office Systems GmbH, and two years later he was promoted to the position of Senior Vice President Sales at Rhenus AG. In 1999 he became assistant Executive Board Member Marketing and Sales at Rhenus AG.

The Supervisory Board of Lufthansa Cargo AG has appointed Dr. Andreas Otto to the Executive Board of Lufthansa Cargo AG with effect from 1 April 2000.

His areas of responsibility include:
• Area Management Sales Germany, Europe/Africa, America and Asia Pacific
• Margin Management
• Product Management
• Global Network & Sales Steering
• Sales and Handling worldwide (apart from Frankfurt and Munich)

Andreas Otto is married and has one son.
