Lufthansa Cargo back on course after stoppage

Up to an including 26 February, Lufthansa Cargo weathered the strike more or less unscathed, except for minor deviations, such as delayed departures, in the timetable. Flight schedules will be operating as planned on Friday, 26th February.

The crisis team at Lufthansa Cargo limited to a minimum the effects of the pilots' walkout on customers. The team met several times, daily, from the moment the stopppage was announced. All departments worked round-the-clock to keep as many freighter services as possible in the air. By chartering third-party capacity and deploying management pilots, the great majority of freighter flights were operated as planned - keeping an extensive network available to customers on all freighter routes, in all traffic regions.

Lufthansa Cargo thanks its customers sincerely for their understanding and solidarity, and asks for their forbearance for any inconvenience the strike may have caused.
