MATCH

With MATCH (Mail Air Transportation through Consolidation Hubs), Deutsche Post World Net positions itself on the growing market of airmail consolidators.

MATCH's target group is small and medium-sized postal authorities. The service portfolio offered to these customers comprises physical handling, documentation, tracking and tracing. The required space for transportation is purchased from the airlines and then marketed as MATCH's consolidated capacity.

The core of the MATCH-system is its hubs in Frankfurt, London, Dubai, Singpore, Lagos, Buenos Aires and Barbados. At these locations MATCH bundles the volumes of Deutsche Post World Net and of the local postal authorities. Its hubs are additionally used for the transmailing business of Deutsche Post group.

MATCH constitutes a potential new business added to the successful relationsship between Lufthansa Cargo and Deutsche Post World Net.
