Security has always been an important topic in airmail handling and transportation.

Therefore, the Joint Airmail Security Group was formed. Highly trained and experienced security staff members of Lufthansa Cargo, Fraport AG and Deutsche Post AG closely collaborate on all airmail related security matters. The Joint Airmail Security Group is dedicated to the improvement of security procedures in the national and international handling of airmail.

Although the security standards in airmail transportation are high anyway, members of the Joint Airmail Security Group and national post offices participate in numerous international panels for development and permanent enhancement of appropriate security measures.
