Time for something new: Six new destinations - 2011 Summer Flight Schedule

Around the world, the seasons are changing. It's also time for a change at Lufthansa Cargo - the new 2011 Summer Flight Schedule is coming.

Starting on March 27, five new destinations in the worldwide network will add new opportunities to the business. This is "Networking the world" you've come to expect only from Lufthansa Cargo. All new destinations have one thing in common - they offer you interesting connections to key industrial regions around the globe. But see for yourself - here's a quick look:

Frankfurt  (FRA) - Shenzhen (SZX):
For the first time, we're flying to the Chinese metropolis of Shenzhen with our MD-11 freighters. Your cargo can now fly with us three times weekly to the mouth of the Pearl River Delta, one of the world's leading industrial regions.

Frankfurt (FRA) - Kolkata (CCU):
Our MD-11s stop twice weekly in this Indian city of 15 million in the future. This now means we have regular freighter connections from Europe to six cities in the Indian subcontinent - Kolkata (Calcutta), Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi and Chennai.

Frankfurt (FRA) - Barcelona (BCN):
Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays we offer direct MD-11 services to Barcelona, the second largest city in Spain, and a more and more important infrastructure hub in the Western Mediterranean.

Frankfurt (FRA) - Houston (IAH):
With the expanded capacity of AeroLogic Boeing 777 freighters, we take your cargo every Saturday to one of the most important hubs in North America.

Frankfurt (FRA) - Lahore (LHE):
Always on Sundays we connect our hub Frankfurt with the capacity of AeroLogic Boeing 777 freighters to the industrial and cultural center in the Northeastern part of Pakistan.

Sixth new destination will be Dhaka. Starting 20 April, the cargo airline is connecting Frankfurt with once-weekly flights.

Frankfurt (FRA) - Dhaka (DAC):
The flights to the capital of Bangladesh, on Wednesdays, will be operated by a Lufthansa Cargo MD-11 freighter.

Please note that all new destinations, frequencies and schedules are subject to official approval.
