Hub Vienna

The Vienna hub is Lufthansa Cargo’s third hub and its first outside Germany.

Since summer 2010, Lufthansa Cargo has fully integrated the capacities of Austrian Airlines within its own portfolio of services and products. The route network of Austrian Airlines encompasses 120 destinations in around 60 countries. The carrier’s intercontinental network through VIE includes flights to  Japan (TYO), India (DEL/BOM),  China (PEK), Thailand (BKK), USA (JFK/WAS) and Canada (YTO) as well as DXB.

The Vienna hub, strategically located at the crossroads between East and West, is the ideal hub between Eastern and Western Europe.

With 42 destinations in Central and Eastern Europe, Austrian Airlines is market leaders in this region.

In addition to a large portfolio of flight options, the newly founded  Austrian Lufthansa Cargo company lays on extensive Road Feeder Services (RFS), especially into and out of  Central and Eastern Europe.
