Brussels Airlines Cargo, a member of the Lufthansa Cargo Group since 2009, independently markets the belly capacities of Brussels Airlines’ passenger aircraft. The Belgian carrier flies from Brussels Airport to 40 destinations in Europe and also to 18 destinations in Africa. Over 90% of all cargo sales in Africa cover perishable commodities such as flowers, vegetables, fruits and fish. While the carrier specialises in carrying temperature-sensitive airfreight, mail shipments rank second in terms of total cargo consignments transported.
